Vehicle Description We found this all original Ghia out of AL in 2016.
She was all complete and original, and never lowered or cut up.
We obtained the paperwork from Germany, and confirmed that its all numbers matching, including original 6 volt engine.
It needed new floors, channels, nose rebuild and lower sections.
We used all good metal from a company in Europe, cut all rust away and welded new metal.
There is no bondo over rust.
This is a driver, but an exceptional driver where everything was touched with excellent quality replacement parts:
- All new wiring, brakes, complete front suspension rebuild, professional rear transmission rebuild, professional top end engine rebuild, original rims riding on coker classics, interior, etc.
The list goes on and on! Everything was touched.
This was a body off restoration, and everything was taken down to bare metal by a professional sand blaster and primed.
After welding, we sent the body to a professional shop to smooth out the seams and paint.
Car was completed in early 2020.
There is some minor work to be done:
Align windows and rear pop-put so they close tightly, horn doesn't work, and interior light doesn't work.
This was built to be driven and enjoyed! Perfect for cruising around and taking to local car shows.
