REQUIREMENT: Must hold or eligible for one of these Connecticut teaching certificates. Please note that holders of #305 only may not teach Kindergarten in CT.
305 Elementary, 1-6 008 Pre-K and Kindergarten
013 Elementary, K-6 001 Pre-K-Grade 8
004 Grades 1-8 002 Pre-K-Grade 6
005 Elementary Education, 1-6 (as of 7/1/2003 includes K)
113 Integrated Early Childhood/Special Ed., Nursery-K-Elem., 1-3

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
