Department Description
The Zotos IT Department operates all critical systems that the Zotos business leverages to remain profitable, efficient and productive
The "Department" strategizes new and industry-best services and systems to ensure Zotos' industry competitiveness and profitability by producing effective and clear roadmaps, ultimately executing the projects on behalf of the business
The Zotos IT Department reflects: $2.3M Payroll & Benefits, $7M Operating Expense (Consultants, Software Maintenance, network lines) and appx $3.1M of Capital Purchases (software, hardware, services and PCs/Macs)
The role of the Senior Director ? Zotos IT is to work closely with all major business departments: Brands, R&D, Business Ops (Plant), PiiDEA, HR, Finance and Legal to ensure business goals and strategies are delivered. In addition, to ensure that the Henkel IBS Technical and Security standards are adhered to within existing and new Zotos IT systems and services.
This individual leads the ongoing definition and development of Zotos IT strategy, the timely delivery of projects and initiatives that support the company's strategic objectives, as well as drives the necessary alignment between technology teams, business processes and a wide range of functional organizations. The Sr. IT Director provides technology vision, strategy and leadership in the development and implementation of IT infrastructure, systems and services with a keen focus on delivering robust, cost efficient, and timely solutions to key business needs. In order to do so, strong vendor management skills and experience are required as well as the ability to lead and align vendors to the work where needed and then follow through with ensuring vendors perform the work as desired/needed.
This position requires a true independent self-starter with demonstrated experience in high growth, fast-paced, channel sales driven organizations. The successful candidate will have the ability not to just drive consensus and provide direction, but to roll up their sleeves and be hands-on in delivering the technology solutions required to solve complex business issues.
What we offer
Planning - Leveraging successful architecture approaches to strategy, set a clear technical vision and roadmap for Zotos IT infrastructure, systems, and applications, grounded in enabling Zotos to efficiently conduct its day-to-day business and grow in a rapidly changing environment.
Ensuring Profits - Budget and capital plan preparation and management. Ensure IT is aligned with business growth objectives and controlling IT costs appropriately.
IT Service Delivery - Oversee the development, evolution and operational support of our core business systems, workplace technology and infrastructure. This includes successful program/project delivery and meeting IT KPI's and service levels.
Controls - Maintain security and privacy of the information systems, communication lines and equipment. Ensure the network is current with systems standards and the IT organization provides appropriate service to internal customers.
Stakeholder Management - Build and maintain effective and open working relationships with internal customers/peers and external vendors. Oversee IT suppliers providing complex IT services, hardware, software and consultative capabilities.
Environmental & Social Responsibilities - Support Company policies on environmental and social responsibility issues.
Organizational Development - Lead a global staff of approximately 15 employees and 20 contractors, aligning IT staff to meet service levels and the strategic initiatives that drive the company's growth. Promote career development by working to improve skills and broaden knowledge of subordinates.
Alignment - Continually align IT priorities, project roadmap and standards with Henkel regional and global IBS. Proactively look for and incorporate synergies where possible.
Key Responsibilities:
Realized benefit to the business from IT initiatives through the development of clearly published and industry-best IT roadmaps
Exercise strong and prudent fiscal management and stakeholder partnerships demonstrated through the delivery of IT operating expenses at, or under monthly and annual budgets
Strong acumen for the management and leadership of employee retention and succession planning
Able to demonstrate close management and leadership of IT SLA/Service Levels
Who we are looking for
Required Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science, engineering, or related field with similar, qualified experience
Preferred Master's degree in either of these fields, or Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in technology preferred
10-15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience with direct experience leading through business growth
Expertise in solving complex business issues through the use of information technology
Understanding of complex data networks and hardware and software applications
Experience in developing and managing Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans
Expertise in SOX, or JSOX
Strong understanding of IT Security controls and how to implement them
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and computer skills are necessary
Strong presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills are critical, especially at delivering executive-level presentations and ideas
Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize
Good problem solving and decision-making skills
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills
Ability to travel 10% of time

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
